Snakes & Ladders is an exciting new project undertaken by Plenty Productions in collaboration with Rolemop Arts. Written by Sarah Naomi Lee and directed by Kerri McLean, the multimedia production has been developed in a series of workshops involving Brighton-based artists. The workshops draw on material collected in the Positive Hair Day project to explore a number of themes, such as memory, personality, cultural background and heritage journey.

The full-length documentary film 'My Nappy Roots' is the project of Regina Kimbrell who conceived the idea of a film about the politics of black hair before Chris Rock (and unsuccessfully took Chris Rock to court). The film was shown in Brighton at the Legacy Film Festival on 21 October 2011 followed by a Q&A session with the director. You can watch a film of the Q&A shot at the Sallis Benney Theatre, Brighton by clicking this link.
