PHD (Positive Hair Day) is a project that aims to build positive racial and cultural identities for Black and mixed heritage individuals and their families living in the Brighton, Hove and Sussex area.
Positive Hair Day is a collaboration between Plenty Productions CIC and Shae Shae Creations Afro & European Hair and Beauty Salon.
The Positive Hair Day HAIRstories exhibition and Positive Hair Day Coffee table book will be on display at the Rocksteady Tea Party this Sunday 20th May at Hove Town Hall alongside such gems as Zena Edwards, Hollie Cook and the Prince Fatty Soundsystem to mark 50 years of Jamaican and Trinidadian Independence.
